Amy had to say...

Me? Well, let's see...I am an avid book lover, collector and reader. I have over 1000 books in my house...and counting!! My favorite books are Horror (Gothic, Supernatural, Occult, Ghosts), Literary, Biographies, and Children’s Books etc.

I am also a writer. I write mostly quiet horror (Gothic), but also have been playing around with the literary side of things. :-)

I am very excited about this site, I am always looking for new books to read...and maybe...possibly...this can cure my voracious appetite for books!! ;-)

NOTE: I wrap all books I send out, very well. They will come to you, wrapped in heavy brown paper, so they are not damaged in the mail.

Books I am looking for.....

!!!! Always looking for books on Gothic Horror (Horror set in the 1800's), Ghosts, Occult, Witches and the Paranormal (Hauntings, Poltergeists and Possessions). !!!!

My favorite genre is Gothic Horror. I love the feeling I get when I open a book, and I encounter bleak castles, dark lair's and sinsiter ghosts. There is nothing as good to me, as a Horror Story, set in the 1800's within these themes.

Ghosts are also a passion of mine; I love anything that has to do with Haunted Houses and spirits from beyond. Like with the Gothic genre, I like most of my ghost stories to be in the past...but like them, really, any way I can get 'em!

Finally, I love all things evil...yes....EVIL!! Occult/Poltergeists and Possessions are simply divine!!! I gobble up stories by M.R. James, Jonathan Aycliffe, Algernon Blackwood, J. Sheridan Le Fanu, Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, William Hope Hodgson and all other author's of these genre's. Stories of The Bell Witch, and age-old Folklore from distant and remote countries intrigue me!!

The scarier the better! So, if you have any tips on great Gothic works or books on ghosts, the occult etc....please let me know!

Until next time....

SLEEP TIGHT!!!!!!   ;-)
